do the math, with love
remember 'the lizzie mcguire movie'? with the horrible acting and typical scenarios? then 'material girls', same story? three greatest hit albums and a scorpion down her pants later, Hilary Duff is in the spotlight once again. thank you, gossip girl. it takes some talent to jump from pubescent pigtails on the family channel to a controversial threesome on CTV's hit show.
"it's hard now for me to change and do all the things that i want to do and see myself doing, and to convince people of that"
remember 'Stuff by Duff'? a line by hilary duff at the age of 14 or 15 that consumed the zellers kid's department? well, it's a collaboration with Donna Karen New York now! in the image cited, hilary is wearing her self brainstormed snake skin leggings, produced by DKNY. in the magazine cover, both the jacket and the skirt are from the same line. Femme by DKNY jeans, if you're curious.
"i still enjoy my job, and i get to be creative."
i'd always kind of liked her since her relationship with joel madden, i was so impressed in those days that they could last so long, under all that media pressure! now, she's not in such a spotlight, and flourishing. with both her relationship (mike comrie, new york islanders player) and career.
in the interview NYLON's luke crisell conducted with the blonde starlet, she answered all queries with a sense of realism. no media censored responses, and maintained personality. which i adore. it gets a little tiring reading this and that, all the same. bring some real personality to the table, hm? composure, and innovativeness are something hilary duff exposes perfectly. maybe that's why the media usually brushes her under the carpet.
"it's possible to do a lot of different things. when you look at the future of things, you have to multitask and be multitalented."
oh well, everyone makes mistakes.
